ARTS, ARTISTRY AND AESTHETICS

Annual display of the Fine Arts Faculty during summer is  the most awaited event in my calendar. Every year ,I enjoy the artistic skill of final year students of UG and PG of all departmens of faculty.   The sheer scale of imagination and physical work is something to be seen to believe. Here there is everything for everyone from just interested to most committed.  The paintings can be abstract,semi abstract, geometrical ,cityscapes,seascape,figurative ,nudes,seminudes . Narrative paintings is like one frame visual tale.

,to be interpreted as per choice.  The crafts of sculpture is also vividly displayed ,in bronze,in terracotta,in multimedia. The installation art is multi media,multi faceted combination ,sometime audio-visual too. The open part of campus along with the cental lily pond is creatively used to enhance the viewers ' sense and sensibilities. The department of   Graphics and  Applied Arts add  their charm too. The varied theme from sublime to sexy to grotesque to lustful are fully exploited to give the strength and  sometime scandals  to  spectacles.
